My Message
Swedish is a fascinating and expressive language with a melodic sound. Learners are admittedly difficult to pronounce like a native because of its characteristic sing-song rhythm, but not more complicated to learn than English. Learning Swedish means to open up a new world, it’s just a wonderful door-key to the Swedes, who have a reputation of being rather reserved to strangers. Addressing the Swedes in her native language is a matter of great respect, a way of showing that you play by their rules. If you are planning to visit Sweden, knowing Swedish will make it much more enjoyable and fun. It will also widen your job opportunity.

My Course
My courses are divided into six levels according to The Council of Europe’s framework for languages (CEFR). This makes it possible for language learners in different countries to have the same framework. With this scale you can identify your level of Swedish, but to be sure that you have picked the right level we suggest that you give us a call and discuss your needs.
Course Structure
LEVEL A
Elementary (A1)
Students will learn basic vocabulary along with the practice of elementary conversation and dialogue pattern and acquire the use of everyday expressions and basic phrases. Introducing oneself and others, ask and answer questions about personal details such as where I live, people I know and things I have.
Survival (A2)
Students will learn sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance. Communicate in simple and direct exchange of information on familiar matters using very simple phrases and began to deal with situations necessary to survive in a Swedish-speaking environment e.g. travel, accommodation, shopping.
LEVEL B
Confidence (B1)
At this level, students will be able to produce simple connected texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest, communicate adequately in simple everyday situations, describe experiences and events as well as dreams, hopes and ambitions, give reasons and explanations for opinions/plans etc.
Functional (B2)
Students can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. Interact with a degree of spontaneity, acquires the ability to express more complex ideas with clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and explain one’s viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages.
LEVEL C
Operational (C1)
Learns a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning and express oneself quite fluently in social, academic, and professional areas. She/he can produce clear, well-structured, detailed texts on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors, and cohesive devices.
Extensive (C2)
At this level a student can understand with ease virtually everything heard or read, summarize information from different spoken and written sources; She/he can express herself/himself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
